ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Christine Conti, M.Ed is an international fitness educator, chronic disease wellness specialist, and recipient of the IDEA World 2023 Fitness Instructor of the Year. She is the CEO of FITFIXNOW, founder of ContiFit, COO of Reinventing the Woman International, and Co-Host of the Two Fit Crazies and a Microphone Podcast. Christine is also the best-selling author of SPLIT-SECOND COURAGE, a corporate wellness consultant, and keynote speaker. When she is not traveling, you will find her running marathons, competing in IRONMAN, or guiding Special Olympic athletes. After receiving a life-changing diagnosis at age thirty, this former investment banker/English teacher believes that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
Irv Rubenstein, Ph.D. in exercise science and certified personal trainer*, is the founder and president of STEPS Fitness, Nashville’s first personal training center. Dr. Irv is often cited in print and online publications as a reliable resource for scientific explanations of fitness myths, functional training and proper exercise technique. He has contributed to books and written articles about personal training and edited the Visual Health Information five-book series, “Exercise Ideas”. He has served on the NSCA committee to develop a new certification for trainers working with special populations (CSPS.) He has provided continuing education for fitness professionals with Exercise ETC for over 15 years, was a founding member of the Eating Disorders Coalition of TN (now called Renewed) and has presented at major conferences on exercise and anorexia, arthritis and exercise, and the scientific challenges of weight loss. Dr. Irv serves on the advisory board of the MedFit Network and co-authored the Orthopedic Fitness Specialist course for the MedFit Education Foundation.
